Owner's Note

Change..A word some would say has been overused recently. A word others are rallying around with hope as we look towards the future. Webster’s Dictionary defines change as “to replace with another” or “to make a shift from one to another.” That is what we have done here at Conceptus, or as we are more simply being known as – Land Architects, Inc. Dropping “Conceptus” as our former DBA merely is a means to better identify what we are and have always strived to be, Architects of Land!

So why the change? Quite frankly we feel our original corporate name merely reflects what we have evolved into and what we have always desired to be. Conceptus no longer fully defines us as to what we really are – Land Architects! Don’t get us wrong, we are not changing what we do, what you have come to depend on us for or what we have built our reputation on. Those promises remain today and will continue to be the cornerstone of how we approach and execute every project. We are simply better defining it!

So why now? Simple… people have a bit more time now; a bit more time to meet and discuss projects, plans, and potentialities; a bit more time to think and contemplate approaches; a bit more time to devote to a project. We still wish to partner in that precious “time change” paradigm and not let it get caught up in anything other than what it is… an evolution of our company!

So… please expect a call, an email, a DVD, and/or a mailer in the very near future. We have recently developed an entirely new series of collateral materials that highlights our experiences, capabilities, and state of the art approach to design! We will be looking to set up a brief meeting to answer any questions that you may have about our new identity (i.e. change). We look forward to maintaining the relationship professionals come to count on.
